Childhood Ailments

Childhood ailments, including allergies and asthma, bedwetting, behavioral issues, colic, coughs and colds, allergies, developmental delays, digestive complaints, “failure to thrive,” pain, reflux, and sleeping problems.  

How are children treated? Using a combination of Shonishin and Japanese acupuncture styles, gentle and non-insertion methods can be used to improve a variety of childhood conditions.

Perinatal and Post-Partum Care 

In addition to acupuncture, acupressure and moxibustion treatments are combined to help your body get ready to bring a new family member into this world.  Close to your delivery date, bring your partner in so you both have a strong toolkit for the big day.   After the delivery, a variety of treatments are available to help with recovery, calming baby, and helping to promote lactation. Assistance with postpartum mood disorders (PPMD) is also important.

What does this involve? Acupuncture, acupressure and moxibustion, including some simple treatments you can your partner can perform at home, at your birthing center, and even in the hospital.
